February brought a busy month for RKM, as we secured 148 pieces of powerful press coverage with an overall reach of 1,634,440,779, attended 2 of the biggest events in the UK calendar, creatively directed a lifestyle shoot producing over 40 impactful images and took our brands to new heights with on-going digital developments.   

The BAFTA’s saw a global crowd celebrate the media’s most creative talent at The Royal Albert Hall on 18th February and who better to prepare the attendees for the event, other than celebrity hair stylist Paul Edmonds. As the official hair partner for the BAFTA’s, Paul’s three-day styling suite, hosted at one of London’s most prestigious settings – The Savoy, accommodated the likes of Emma Roberts, Emma Louise Connolly, Hayley Squires, Celia Imrie, Fashion Mumblr, The Abduls, Sam Chapman and The Collyer Twins, alongside press from major publications including The Daily Mail, In Style, Harpers Bazaar, ITV and LOOK magazine. Alongside these publications, Paul featured in The Telegraph Online, sharing his confessions of a celebrity hairdresser and chatting about his previous styling experiences gaining Paul additional exposure, engagement and awareness across an online audience.

 

 

Medical Aesthetics brand Perk, took pride of place in Harper’s Bazaar’s ‘Bests Facials in London, hand-picked by Bazaar’s Beauty Team’. With a reach of 415,000, Bazaar’s website strengthens the brand’s key message alignment. The article positioned Perk as the luxury facial for the time-poor city dweller and additionally, as the 30-minute lunch time facial that ticks the same box as treatments that can take double the time.

Hosted at Excel London, The Baby Show welcomed a whole host of celebrity faces, influencer families and baby products galore for a 2-day showcase. As one of the leading global baby brands, Mustela displayed their skincare range relating to their skin type campaign, alongside offering family-friendly advice to parents and Mums and Dads to be. Digital activations included live social coverage, influencer takeovers and Q&A’s with Mustela’s owner, while PR included seeding of influencers, promotion and awareness of the product and building relationships with press and high profile figures.

Premium Men’s Grooming brand SCRUBD began the new year with a bang by elevating their social following, engagement and aesthetic with the help of our digital team. RKM Communications x SCRUBD coordinated a lifestyle social content shoot based in Hackney to increase an already encouraging community on all social platforms and take the SCRUBD Instagram feed to the next level while showcasing their new product range and colour scheme.

 

 

 

 

Lastly, ZO Skin Health took pride of place in ELLE magazine, coming out as one of the top recommended products to tackle Rosacea; a common skin condition experienced by many. The informative article, written by Joely Walker highlights how to appease Rosacea in a relatable and technical approach.
