Perk tasked our agency with raising the profile of Perk Skincare in UK as a quicker, more accessible treatment from the experts behind HydraFacial. The key challenge was to ensure that people didn’t make the assumption that due to the speed of the Perk treatment, that it wouldn’t deliver on results.
Our key aim was to drive quick press interest and due to the portable nature of Perk, we decided a pop-up event would be ideal. The format would allow us to drive a large volume of press appointments in a short space of time, with instant social media inclusion and vital 1-2-1 time to discuss the benefits of Perk whilst the journalists and influencers experienced the treatments first-hand. The format was so successful, that we held a second pop-up a few months later. Alongside the events, we created key press materials for Perk to communicate the key USPs of the brand.
In just six months we’ve welcomed over 18 press to experience Perk from ELLE to Harper’s Bazaar. We have driven coverage in titles including Good Housekeeping, Woman & Home, Harper’s Bazaar Online and Refinery29 as well as among high-profile influencers The Abduls, Taislany Gomes, Beauty Queen UK, The Style Lane and Daniel Marin with more in the pipeline.
