RKM supported the relaunch of glo-minerals to Glo Skin Beauty through a targeted press gifting strategy and communications campaign. Our aim was to position Glo Skin Beauty as a niche brand driving growth in a saturated UK Beauty market. We highlighted the natural USP the brand possesses with the knowledge that 50% of UK consumers who buy beauty products look for products made with natural ingredients. Part of the rebrand process, Glo Skin Beauty increased their price points to reflect the premium packaging, so it was important for us to continue to drive traffic to the new website.
Our PR objectives for Glo Skin Beauty was to identify health & beauty KOLs part of the ‘natural movement’ and to share videos and images of them incorporating Glo Skin Beauty into their skincare routine and how-to make-up videos. By having access to Glo Skin Beauty experts and brand ambassadors, we were also able to leverage press coverage through commentary opportunities across national, consumer and online media. Additionally, a key digital project for RKM was to promote Black Friday through an influencer activation including promotional codes across all social media platforms and online blogs
